General cancellation policy at Oset fjellhotell

• Individual bookings: Free cancellation up to 48 hours prior to arrival (check-in at 15:00).
• Group bookings (min. 20 people): Free cancellation up to 8 weeks prior to arrival. Up to 10% one week before. Within 7 days before arrival the full amount will be charged.
• Please note that there is a separate cancellation policy for special events, where the general cancellation policy does not apply.
• The above conditions also apply to shortened stays.
• Check-in is at 15:00 on the day of arrival.
• Check-in is at 11:00 on the day of departure. Later check-out than this is charged at NOK 200 per hour unless otherwise agreed.
• We would like to remind you that it is possible to cover the costs of cancelled stays caused by illness through travel insurance, but a medical certificate must be presented.
• If the guest has not shown up for check-in by midnight on the day of check-in, the stay is considered cancelled.

Liability for damage:

• The guest, or the guarantor of the room, is liable for damage to the premises as a result of negligence or reckless behaviour by the guests.
• Please note that all rooms at Oset Fjellhotell are non-smoking. In the event of a violation, the hotel will demand compensation for extra cleaning of the room. This compensation is set at 1500,- and will be charged from the final bill of the guest responsible for the room.
• Additional accidents in the room that require extra cleaning (e.g. vomiting) will be charged at NOK 500,-.
