Vasskanten café

Vasskanten is, quite simply, a hiking café for happy mountain people, located in a scenic area that invites you to get active. At normal water levels, it's the perfect place to take a refreshing mountain swim! We hire out kayaks, canoes and SUP boards in season, as well as various games such as ring toss, kubb and boccia.

Vasskanten is the perfect distance from the hotel for a short walk (approx. 600 metres) and is easily accessible. Its location in the cove below Tisleidammen makes it a natural stop when you are on a cycling trip, preferably in connection with a trip to Stølsvidda. Together with Langestølen café, Vasetstølen, Sekskanten, Gomobu, Bjørkestølen and Vasetdansen, these make up a very good catering offer in the summer mountains with good variety. It's always motivating to look forward to a little stop where you can take a breather and replenish your energy.
