Welcome to us.
Passion and pride
Our menus are inspired by food traditions through the ages, while remaining humble to new ways of preparing and presenting food. Our dedicated chefs prepare meals with passion and pride. We have hand-picked suppliers who place high demands on the raw materials, they are chosen with knowledge and a critical eye.
For generations, Oset has been a food house, a place where there has always been a great passion for food and, of course, good ingredients. The former hostesses Gudrun and her mother-in-law Sara had their hours over the pots. Several of their recipes are still used today, and we can promise you that there's no cheating with either the caramel pudding or the sour cream porridge.
Fjellbistroen
In our very popular bistro, you'll find snacks such as the Norwegian speciality, Rømmegrøt (sour cream porrige), soup of the day, large sandwiches, tasty hamburgers and what we believe are the world's best waffles.
We have really good coffee from Solberg and Hansen. Cookies, homemade buns and ice cream are also on the menu.

Søndag- torsdag: 11.00-15.00
The mountain bistro may be closed during periods when the hotel is closed.
The restaurant
The hotel restaurant offers a delicious 3-course dinner: starter or soup, main course and dessert with coffee from 19:00. Booking is recommended. On weekends and holidays we offer a buffet. Please contact the hotel to find out what applies on the desired date.
